    Chris Arnold | Chipotle

    When you think innovation and creativity in the public relations industry, it’s likely Chris Arnold comes to mind. As the communications director at Chipotle, Arnold sets the standard and exemplifies how a true communications professional should perform. Arnold has more than 15 years of industry experience and uses his enhanced knowledge of media strategy to his advantage. He is a master planner, constantly developing carefully crafted messages aimed at exact target markets. His exceptional efforts have turned Chipotle into a media powerhouse making it difficult to go a day without coming across an article, YouTube video or ad touting Chipotle’s virtues: Food with Integrity.

    2013 Joe Fuentes Rookie of the Year Award

    In his first year at MGA Communications, Matthew Rodriguez is already delivering results of a veteran. Rodriguez is an account executive with MGA Communications, having joined the firm in early 2012. As a rising star in the field, he has established himself as a valuable part of the MGA team and an ideal recipient of the Joe Fuentes Rookie of the Year award.

    PRSA Western District 2012 Conference Committee

    Often it is not what a person does individually that’s the most rewarding but rather what is accomplished as a team. This year’s PR Team of the Year is the PRSA Western District 2012 Conference Committee. The team included Lisa Cutter, chair of the event, along with 20 senior professionals. 

    2013 Chapter Service Award

    Meredith Bagnulo, APR | Bagnulo Communications

    Meredith Bagnulo, APR, has excelled in her professional endeavors and through her PRSA commitments.  Bagnulo has a quiet presence, but her chapter service has been no less impactful. It comes as no surprise that this valued Colorado Chapter member would be recognized for the many contributions she has made continues to make to our local PR community and association.

    2013 Mentor of the Year Award

    Jane Dvorak, APR, Fellow PRSA | JKD & Company, Inc.

    Jane Dvorak, APR, Fellow PRSA, is best described with one word – impact. Not only has Dvorak had major impact in the public relations industry but she has also mentored young professionals and students for 30 years, impacting the lives of many. Also known as Denver’s "Consultalancer”©, she demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm to help pave the way for the industry leaders of tomorrow. As a mentor, she has a successful internship program, has coordinated Speed Networking sessions nationally and helps organize the Colorado Chapter’s annual Shadow Day.  In 2010, Dvorak wrote "Beyond the Classroom: Building a Foundation for the PR Profession,” an article discussing the importance of student outreach programs and mentoring young professionals. She’s an advocate of helping the young pros reach their full potential and understands that it is impossible without champions there to mentor, teach and share.
