    commitment to excellence. Pursuing the APR gives you direct access to top public relations leaders - APR holders who will guide you through the process of achieving Accreditation - and provides the tools you need to distinguish yourself as a luminary in the public relations field.

    Why should I pursue my APR?
    - The APR is a professional accreditation that demonstrates your commitment to professional advancement and ethics. The process will help you gain broad and strategic public relations knowledge, skills and abilities that will help you further your career. The APR is not just a test – it is a full process that validates your competence and your dedication to our industry. 

    Who is eligible?
    - PRSA members with a recommended 5+ years of paid, full-time professional experience in public relations, journalism, or communications industries, or in teaching or administration of public relations in an accredited college or university.

    How much will my APR cost?

    - The fee to apply for your APR is $385. PRSA rebates $100 to its members upon passing the first time.
    -APR renewal occurs every 3 years and costs $75 each time you renew triannually. To renew your APR, you must gain continuing education units that demonstrate how you are remaining current and involved in the profession and dedicated to professional growth.

    How do I find out more information about the APR+M?
    - Military public affairs professionals can earn the Accreditation in Public Relations + Military Communication (APR+M). Learn more at prsa.org.
