These hotels are all located with easy access to the highway system.  All are just a few minutes from the venue and easy access to downtown.

    Some neighborhoods for AirBnB

    • LoHi (Lower Highlands) this is just west of downtown, an easy Lyft ride or depending on location even a walk across the Millennium bridge.
    • LoDo (Lower Downtown) this is near Coors Field and downtown, easy access to the 16th street mall shuttle (it’s free), Lyft-able to most anywhere
    • Highlands (just west of LoHi) – this is close to the starting venue and just west of downtown by about 10 minutes; there are some good, some sketchy areas here

    Areas to avoid

Neighborhoods that may show up for “trendy” locales, but I would consider sketchy and not safe:

    • Anything in the 5 Points area
    • Colfax (Speer to Colorado Blvd)
    • areas near Metro State University (away from downtown)
    • Capitol Hill – neighborhoods near the capitol – it’s sketchy here at night, during the day it is fine

Expensive areas and located far from downtown:  Cherry Creek North, Thornton, Westminster, Centennial – these may offer some decent pricing on hotels, but you’ll have a drive to the core activities.
