    Lions and tigers and bears – oh my! PR professionals everywhere can agree this dynamic industry can sometimes be a zoo. But with an integrated communications plan in place, it can be much easier to navigate. Join us at the Denver Zoo on March 21 to learn how Jake Kubié, Director of Communications for one of the country’s most popular zoos, approaches strategic planning, stakeholder management and crisis communications. Presenters will share success stories from 2018 and leave attendees with tactics to implement to their own integrated communications strategies in 2019 and beyond.

    Lunch and presentation will occur from 11:30a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and includes a personalized tour of the zoo's 'newest and best' attractions, and free zoo entrance before and after the event.

    Meet Jake Kubié | Director of Communications for Denver Zoo
    As Director of Communications for Denver Zoo, Jake Kubié is in charge of telling the many, many stories about the Zoo and its efforts to save wild animals and wild places to local, national and international audiences. He oversees a three-person team that manages all media relations, social media and content development, including videos, blogs, press releases and more. Prior to joining the Zoo, he spent more than seven years at top public relations agencies, where he guided communications for a wide range of clients, from organic foods to celebrity athletes, and eight years as a writer, photographer and editor for a leading regional golf and travel publication.
