Getting an APR: now's the time to pursue it

As a PR practitioner, are you considering getting your APR? Wonder how involved it is? What the process is? What an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) credential can do for you in today’s increasingly competitive environment?

This is your chance to find out.

Join us, Thursday, May 12 from 5:00-5:30 p.m. for an APR Interest Call.

Colleagues from the Colorado Chapter of PRSA who have attained their APR will be on the call to share resources and insights as to why an APR is more valuable today than ever. For some, an APR demonstrates strategic knowledge and professional development. To others, the credential represents an affirmation of knowledge, skills and abilities in public relations. For me, a former journalist, my APR not only provides a structure on which to shape, advance and enhance my communications skills, but also my APR establishes a built-in credibility that sets me apart by showcasing my expertise and leadership in strategic communications.

PR is adapting to the times by emphasizing strategy, tactics and measurement. Are you adapting?

Now’s the time to learn more, ask questions and gain a better understanding of how pursuing and achieving your APR today can impact your career for years to come.
