    By Teresa Dougherty, APR

Are you targeting 2018 to finally get accredited? Need some hands-on preparation?  Participate in the pre-conference Western District APR Bootcamp Half-day Workshop on April 11 at the 2018 Western District Conference in Denver.

APR online course instructor Mike Daily, APR — who is a board member and APR Committee Chair for the San Diego/Imperial County Chapter and is a former Marine Corps Public Affairs Officer — will lead students through a workshop that touches on everything from PR models and theory to ethics and law to PR research, planning, implementation and evaluation  — all the elements that comprise APR accreditation. In addition, Mike will go over the APR Panel Presentation and sample the kinds of questions you might expect from the APR Exam.

As a skilled PR professional, you know your success is dependent on staying relevant, resourceful and inspired. The Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) sets you apart and proves that you have the know-how to take your career to its fullest potential.

Get motivated to meet your career goals by participating in this special APR pre-conference workshop from 8 a.m.- noon on April 11 at the Oxford Hotel in Denver. Students do not have to attend the conference to enroll in the workshop. Space is limited, and students must enroll by March 30. Review the syllabus and register here.
