    PRSA Colorado Announces 2018 Leadership Team

    Board members offer a diverse background across many sectors of the profession

    DENVER—Nov. 15, 2017 —The  Public Relations Society of America Colorado Chapter (PRSA Colorado) today announced its 2018 Board of Directors. New board members are volunteer professionals and were elected at the October annual meeting. The 2018 board will begin their terms Jan. 1, 2018 under President Amy Sperber, APR.


    “It’s an honor to serve our Colorado members alongside such a talented group of board and committee members, particularly as we celebrate PRSA Colorado’s 60-year anniversary in 2018,” Sperber said. “For the past six decades PRSA Colorado has been committed to helping PR and communications professionals learn, develop and connect through every stage of their careers.  As we look ahead at 2018 and beyond, we will continue to evolve and adapt to meet the needs of our members and the Colorado business community in this rapidly changing industry.” 


    Amy Sperber has more than 20 years of experience in public relations and strategic communications, focusing on executive and internal communications, change management, employee engagement and financial services communications. Amy graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in technical journalism with an emphasis in public relations. While at CSU, Amy served as the president and historian of the Colorado State University Public Relations Student Society of America chapter. Amy has been a member of the PRSA Colorado Chapter since 1995. She received her APR designation and has served on the board of the PRSA Colorado Chapter and a number of committees over the past 21 years.
